Date: Tue, 23 Dec 2003 12:54:48 -0500 From: "Mark Dodel" Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: xine rc2 for OS/2 From: Darwin O'Connor I have released my port of the video player xine for OS/2. Currently only MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 video files have been tested. In time I hope to have all formats supported by xine on Linux working on OS/2. In keeping with the ideals of the OS/2 Multimedia Infrastructure Project, xine for OS/2 is an MCD (Media Control Device), which means it doesn't include a user interface, but can but used by video players that fully support MMOS/2, including WPS Play and Normal Player. xine for OS/2 is available for download at http://doconnor.reamined.on.ca/xine/ xine for OS/2 is released under the GPL.
