I'm updating 1.7b today because the issues have been so major.

hasn't been updated yet but the mozilla-os2-1.7b.zip file has been updated
with files dated 03/25/2004

Here are the fixed problems:

1. Crash on startup
2. Ability to install over 1.4.2
3. Corruption when incorrect locale is used
4. Unable to create profiles or save files with double byte characters

Obviously if none of these problems concern you, you don't need the 
update.
