From: chrisDESPAM at slave.plus.com http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=15305 The Inquirer has an interesting article entitled "The Structural Failures of Windows". It covers some of history back when IBM and Microsoft were working together. Noteable quotes from the article:- "OS/2 was envisioned as the OS that could take advantage of multi-tasking and multi-threading to unite the worlds of Microsoft and IBM and Intel. This marriage didn't last very long, but it produced OS/2 which for all of its madness, was unbelievably reliable." cheers -- Chris Url: http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=15305 From: Chris Hodgkins (chrisDESPAM at slave.plus.com) Submitted with the form on http://www.os2world.com/submit_news.php -- Warpstock 2004 - Denver, Colorado, October 21-24 The Mile High OS/2 Event: http://www.warpstock.org [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
