Subject:  [VOICENWS] Event: Warpstock Czech Republic 2004 !

 Hello OS/2 users!

We are proud to announce that the 3rd year of the Czech Warpstock
conference will take place in Pec pod Snezkou, CZ, during the last June
weekend. We will start on Friday afternoon (June 25, 2004) and finish on
Sunday afternoon (June 27, 2004).

Pec pod Snezkou is the center of Krkonose mountains, placed in the north
of the Czech Republic, just a few kilometers from Polish border. A photo

is particularly interesting for those of you living in Poland or Germany,
but the others may appreciate summer mountain weather as well...

Accomodation is granted for registered users only. The registration is
free of any charge, one night with breakfast in the chalet Orlik (see
http://www.sweb.cz/chataorlik/ ) costs 350 Kc (about 12 Euro).

So far, the following presentations have been announced:
 * Project Egothor - A Java search engine running on eCS 1.1
 * Java Native Interface and OS/2
 * eComStation 1.2
 * Virtual PC for OS/2

Other presentations will be (hopefully) added soon. Would you like to
present an interesting piece of OS/2 software, explain a programming
technique, or even present your own OS/2 application? Don't hesitate, any
activity will be highly appreciated with regular supply of beer during the
conference. Or just come to see us!

From this year on, we use DocBook for conference papers. All you have to
do is to write a valid XML DocBook file and send it to the organizers. All
subsequent work (typesetting, conversion to PDF and PostScript) will be
done by organizers. Instuctions in Czech can be found at
