Date: Thu, 27 May 2004 09:19:49 -0300 From: "Mark Dodel" Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: jSyncManager v3.2 alpha 01 released. From: Brad BARCLAY Hey Everyone: The jSyncManager Development Team is pleased to announce the release of the jSyncManager v3.2 alpha 01. This release incorporates all fixes and new features implemented since the v3.0 release last fall. Important new features include the FotoReader jConduit for camera-enabled handhelds, the new TCP transport for network-based synchronization, and many new API features for developers. You can download the latest release through both our homepage and SourceForge project sites, via: http://www.jsyncmanager.org http://sf.jsyncmanager.org Those upgrading from v3.0 neeed to be warned that v3.2 alpha 01 is the first release to see a packaging change separating the API and core jConduits from the Core Application Set package. This has been done to make the jSyncManager install options more flexable, and to put a better separation between items with different licenses (as the API is licensed differently from the Core Application Set and Core jConduits). It does mean, however, that there is no longer a single-file download for the jSyncManager, but instead a three-file download (the CAS, API, and jConduits). As always, questions or comments about this release can be posted to the jSyncManager online forums (through http://sf.jsyncmanager.org ), e-mailed to myself ( bbarclayDESPAM at jsyncmanager.org ).
