Date: Fri, 02 Jul 2004 21:58:38 -0300 From: "Mark Dodel" Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Quatech USB to Serial Adapter Support Package From: "Mark Dodel" The OS/2 Quatech USB to Serial Driver Package (USBQSER.EXE) provides support for USB to Serial Adapters manufactured by Quatech, Inc. on the OS/2 Operating System. The supported Quatech adapters are the: * SSU-100 (1-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter) * DSU-100 (2-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter) * QSU-100 (4-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter) * ESU-100 (8-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter) * HSU-100 (16-Port USB to RS-232 Serial Adapter) Quatech USB to RS-232 serial adapters are easily configured to enable the continued use of legacy devices without making any changes to the applications written for them. The adapters enumerate themselves as standard COM ports making the USB interface completely transparent to software. The USB Basic Device Support Package is a prerequisite for this device driver. The most current version of this device driver package is part of the IBM Software Choice offerings. http://service.software.ibm.com/swchoice/os2dd/usbqser.exe To learn more about IBM Software Choice visit their home page. http://www-4.ibm.com/software/os/warp/swchoice/ -- Warpstock 2004, Denver, Colorado, October 21 - 24, 2004 http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe 2004, Arnhem, The Netherlands, November 26-28th, 2004 http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
