It's the Dell P1500 Laser Printer. According to reports this printer is a Dell-branded Lexmark E321 laser printer. However, Lexmark made sure that only Dell's toner cartridges would work, even though mechanically they are the same as Lexmark's. Just be aware of that bit of "marketing engineering" and make sure you understand the price and availability of Dell toner cartridges and how that affects your printing costs. You can find the printer's specifications here: http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/print_p1500?c=us&cs=22&l=en&s=dfh Despite Dell's admonition, this printer understands standard Postscript and PCL datastreams, so it has plenty of driver support for your favorite operating system. (You can use the E322 or E310 profile in the standard LaserJet driver. That should produce excellent results.) The printer has both USB and parallel ports, and the engine is rated at a very speedy 19 pages per minute Dell has factory refurbished P1500 printers available for $129 plus $14 shipping. But we can do better than that. Use coupon code WJFDF4C0HQTXSM at checkout for $25 off. Also, if you surf through to Dell's web site from http://www.fatcash.com you may also earn a 3% rebate on your purchase. So your final price is $118 or possibly lower. Check the Dell Outlet section of Dell's web site to locate this printer (and specifically in the Dell Outlet Peripherals - Dell Printers section). Or you can click on "View Inventory" from the above web link if you aren't trying for the FatCash rebate. I'm generally a fan of factory refurbished laser printers. I think they (generally) represent a good value given that most of the "action" is contained in the toner cartridge (and fuser if that's separate). These particular printers still carry a one year warranty. As always, I have no affiliation with any of these companies.
