Date: Wed, 06 Apr 2005 16:43:18 -0300 From: madodel at ptdprolog.net Subject: [VOICENWS] Event: OS/2 and eComStation Developers Workshop - Registration Now Open From: os2infoDESPAM at DESPAMgmx.net I would like to inform all developers that plan to attend the OS/2 and eComStation Developers Workshop 2005 that you can buy tickets now! We use the Mensys online shop for registration. This shop is secure and offers a number of different ways to pay the registration fee. While it will be possible to register at the checkin desk, we strongly suggest not doing this. Why? Because we have to know how many people are attending the workshop! (at least, roughly!) We have the possibility to rent more or larger rooms depending on the number of participants, but we can do this only in advance! We know that some people make a last minute decision to participate and that is OK with us. However, if you already know that you want to attend, please use the online shop to register! The final prices for the event are: 40 EUR for a two day registration 25 EUR for a one day registration The tickets include the entrance fee for the workshop as well as snacks and a limited number of non-alcoholic beverages during the workshop. In addition, we offer Workshop Sponsor Units. The Workshop Sponsor Units will be used to pay travel costs for developers that come from eastern Europe. If you want to know more about this, please visit the Workshop Homepage. Other News: =========== We have added a number of different logos to the workshop homepage. Among the normal workshop logo, we now offer a banner version and a small version of the logo. Three presentations were added to the schedule. Two of them will provide some details about the Development Roadmap of eComStation and translation practices that were used to provide the different national language versions of eComStation. The third new presentation is called "OS/2 USB Stack Development Guidelines" and is of particular interest to people that want to develop or enhance USB drivers!
