As a precursor, I've compiled sane-find-scanner.exe which correctly identified the scanner on my machine. I'd appreciate it if testers with a USB scanner would download http://smedley.info/sane-find-scanner.zip and send me the report from running: sane-find-scanner -v Note that this may require a newer version of usbresmg.sys than eCS 1.2 ships with. I had system traps with gPhoto2. If traps in os2krnl are experienced with this build, please update usbresmg.sys using the package at http://smedley.info/usbresmg.zip Thanks in advance for any feedback. NOTE: this will not scan - all it will do is detect (hopefully!) a USB scanner attached to your PC.
