I finally have some good news in this area. I've made contact with Goran Ivankovic and he is going to send me some information to help add new scanners. In the meantime, for users who have tested my Sane builds and would like to see their scanner supported by Tame, I need the following to be done (as detailed in the Tame manual) Execute from the commandline: scanimage -d device --help >device.txt (substitute your scanner backend name - eg. plustek for device) This will produce a file 'device.txt', which can be read with every text editor. Send the file device.txt to paulDESPAM at DESPAMsmedley.info, along with: -The SANE version you used (eg date/time of dlls) -The scanner model (eg Epson GT5500) -The name of the device.conf (eg epson.conf) Cheers, Paul. -- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to majormajor at os2voice.org unsubscribe news end Or, visit http://www.os2voice.org/MailingLists.html If you have an announcement you would like posted to the VOICE News list, please send it to submit at os2voice.org.
