Postponed from last month, Jerry Rash has been experimenting with USB cameras. He's ready to show us what fun he's having with them. Tony Butka has promised to both come to the meeting and to demo something interesting, but to date has refused to tell us what he is going to demo. No worries. Tony's presentations are always interesting. This one is sure to be no different. Lynn Maxon has decided it would a worthy venture to port VIM using the OpenWatcom development tools. This month he's going to show us the results, to date, of this venture. It will be interesting to compare his results with Greg's results using the GCC tools. For those of you that missed Greg's presentations, VIM is an enhanced version of the classic VI editor, which has been around since the early days of UNIX. If there's time, maybe we can convince Sheridan to give us an update on the status of his solid-state computer. Last month we had hardware issues that prevented the eCS install attempts from running to completion.. We will have a Q&A session too, so have your questions ready. See you on Saturday, February 18th. Don't forget to bring some room for donuts and coffee!
