Date: Thu, 30 Mar 2006 14:46:03 -0500 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: DFSee 8.00 released; JFS supported now! ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Jan van Wijk DFSee version 8.00 has been released today, a new MAJOR release! The main new thing in this release is JFS support, allowing filesystem check, recovery, undelete and smart imaging. Progress reporting for al long running actions is enhanced with a 'percentage complete', estimated time to completion (ETA) and in many places a semi-graphic progress-BAR as well. The OS/2 version has enhancements for removable media like eject, discover and display removable-status in many existing displays. DFSee is a very powerful disk-utility with disk partitioning, filesystem and disk analysis, file recovery, UNDELETE for HPFS JFS, and NTFS, resizing, imaging and cloning.
