There hasn't been much activity in the moderated OS/2 Usenet groups for a 
couple of months.  Be aware that the Big-8 has recently re-organized and 
they are beginning to look at inactive groups for possible deactivation. 
comp.os.os2.moderated and comp.os.os2.announce are currently considered 
"reactivated".  There is still a need for a moderated OS/2 group since 
there are still trolls that have made other groups (right now its the 
endless Tholen/anti-tholen diatribes in c.o.o.advocacy) almost unusable, 
unless they are heavily filtered.

 From a post on news.groups:

REACTIVATED: The group was recently reactivated after a period of
inactivity and has not yet established an activity pattern.  There
are 2 Reactivated groups.  The month of reactivation is noted.

comp.os.os2.announce  . . . . . . . . . . . . 2005-09
comp.os.os2.moderated . . . . . . . . . . . . 2005-09

Especially for comp.os.os2.announce if you have an announcement please post 
it there as well as on the VOICE News list.  And if you want to ask a 
question and not have to deal with attacks from the anti-OS/2-eCS trolls, 
try using comp.os.os2moderated.  If we don't use these resources we risk 
losing them.
