Date: Thu, 20 Apr 2006 07:56:13 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: PMDCalc Plus Version 0.9.8b ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Herwig Bauernfeind This is a lightweight calculator for daily office use, which is optimized for fast and simple calculations. In additions it has options to ease the transfer of - results from PMDCalc Plus into other programs - numbers from other programs into PMDCalc Plus using the clipboard and/or drag and drop. Note: This calculator is not suitable for scientific mathematics, it is not capable to handle brackets, it does not honor point calculation before line calculation. This is an interim release to fix some (mostly visual) problems in case PMDCalc Plus is used on systems using 96dpi fonts. * Changed: The whole calculator window is now freely resizable as the resizing logic produced wrong sizes on systems with small 96dpi fonts which rendered PMDCalc Plus almost unusable on these systems. - Removed: Option to hide keyboard (obsolete) ! Fixed: The font of the tape and the memory register was not saved (and the default font looked horrible on systems with small 96dpi fonts). No other changes, so if you did not run into one of these issues, there is no need to update.
