Date: Thu, 11 May 2006 23:40:36 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Brutus, version 1.0beta1 ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Dale Erwin The first beta release of Brutus, version 1.0beta1, is available for testing here: http://www.casaerwin.com/brutus.zip and a brief instruction tutorial here: http://www.casaerwin.com/Install.txt Brutus organizes and catalogs the things we collect: CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, LPs, MP3 files, MPG files, PDF files, etc. If one of your collectibles consists of MP3 files, it can launch the MP3 player to play the files, or it can launch Acrobat Reader to display a pdf file, or the Browser to display an html file. If this type of app is of interest to you, pleast try Brutus and tell me what you think it needs. Brutus supports English, German, Italian and Spanish, but the help files are so far only available in English, and the Install file lacks the German translation. -- Dale Erwin Salamanca 116 Pueblo Libre Lima 21 PERU Tel. +51(1)461-3084 -- Warpstock 2006 - Windsor, Ontario, Canada, October 12-15th, http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe - http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
