Date: Mon, 12 Jun 2006 07:57:34 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Tame build updated 1.0.3f ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Paul Smedley As the release of Sane 1.0.18 is approaching, I thought it was about time to get an updated OS/2 build out there for testing. Tame 1.0.3f is now available from http://smedley.info/os2ports/ A list of devices supported by Sane is at http://www.sane-project.org/lists/sane-mfgs-cvs.html Note that there are firmware loading problems with the Epson Perfection 2480/2580/3490/3590 scanners that are currently unresolved. New backends in Sane 1.0.18 will include - pixma, dell and hp3500. The scanners that these backends support can be found at http://www.sane-project.org/lists/sane-backends-cvs.html As always, feedback is appreciated - particularly if your scanner used to work in an older version of Tame/Sane and doesn't now. In this event, debug logs from a working version of Sane and a non-working version of Sane are most useful.
