Jerry will us show an alternative to the PVR PC Video Capture Card. Come see a Replay TV 5000 DVR home recorder connected to an eCS laptop via Ethernet. Enjoy streaming video playback via WarpVision or download and watch the videos locally with FFPLAY. Downloaded files can be used with DVD Author to create DVDs that commercial players can use. (DVD Author will be discussed in detail at a future meeting.) A second item, if time permits, will be a quick touch on PODcast support in WarpVision and Firefox using the MediaPlayerConnectivity extension. Yes, we can watch on-line movies too! Next, Bob Blair is going to give us another installment of his "Introduction to PM Programming" tutorial. And, the Programming SIG will also give us an update on current status of the Developer's Assistant. Don't forget to bring your questions to the ever popular Q&A session. It gives you a great opportunity to work the kinks out of your systems. See you on Saturday.
