Date: Sun, 16 Jul 2006 12:54:41 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Updates at OS/2 Ports page (RRDTool, PostgreSQL, ImageMagick) ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Paul Smedley I've made some updates at http://smedley.info/os2ports over the last couple of days: * 20060716 - Stunnel port added * 20060716 - PostgreSQL port added * 20060716 - ImageMagick updated * 20060714 - RRD Tool port added The stunnel program is designed to work as an SSL encryption wrapper between remote client and local (inetd-startable) or remote server. It can be used to add SSL functionality to commonly used inetd daemons like POP2, POP3, and IMAP servers without any changes in the programs' code. PostgreSQL is a powerful, open source relational database system. It has more than 15 years of active development and a proven architecture that has earned it a strong reputation for reliability, data integrity, and correctness. ImageMagick®, version 6.2.8, is a software suite to create, edit, and compose bitmap images. It can read, convert and write images in a large variety of formats. Images can be cropped, colors can be changed, various effects can be applied, images can be rotated and combined, and text, lines, polygons, ellipses and Bézier curves can be added to images and stretched and rotated. RRDTool - RRD is the acronym for Round Robin Database. It is a system to store and display time-series data (i.e. network bandwidth, machine-room temperature, server load average). As always, general feedback is welcome via paulDESPAM at DESPAMsmedley.info, it is preferred that bug reports are submitted via my bug tracker at http://mantis.smedley.info Thanks, Paul. -- Warpstock 2006 - Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 12-15th, http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe - Cologne, Germany, Nov. 17-19th, http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
