Date: Sat, 14 Oct 2006 21:17:48 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: WDSibyl 20061015.ZIP (Beta-Version) ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Mark Dodel Wolfgang Draxler has released a new update to WDSibyl on the netlabs ftp site. It is listed on his web site as a beta release. There are both OS/2 and Win32 sources and binaries. Help is in both German and English. I am not sure what has changed but there are a number of updated files in the different zip archives. Homepage (In German, Dutch and English): http://members.chello.at/webstar/wdsibyl.html "This is a Pascal-Compiler which processes a language closely related to »Delphi«." Download:ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/wdsibyl/wdsibyl/Install_20061015.zip Support is provided through: International: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.org.netlabs.sibyl.devel German language: http://www.commtalk.de/ (currently below: OS/2 Development) From the included IDE.TXT file, translated from German using Babel Fish: "WDSibyl is an advancement of Sibyl, which was developed some years ago by the company Speedsoft and given up then. The original to source of the IDE are subject the GPL (general Public License) and are down loadable by Hobbes. The original source of RTL, SPCC etc. was made available by SpeedSoft already some years ago on their homepage. Since the company Speedsoft nolonger exists, I have to compile begun this source and it developed after longer time into "WDSibyl". With this product also come some innovations (e.g. USB -, ODBC - are, Joystick support, storing the position and colors of the component, some classes of other persons etc..) and a quantity of corrections. My changes and/or extension of the source are subject also to GPL. I do not take responsibility for direct or indirect damage by the use of the product. But if someone has an error or a problem with WDSibyl, I am pleased about feedback by E-Mail. Since I cannot program and/or write everything, I could use assistance to develop this product further. Mainly are missing: o new components and/or source. o Documentation. o Tests and continue to develop the product You contact the developer at wdsibylDESPAM at DESPAMchello.at" -- Warpstock 2006 - Windsor, Ontario, Canada, Oct. 12-15th, http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe - Cologne, Germany, Nov. 17-19th, http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
