Date: Fri, 27 Oct 2006 21:56:55 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Enhanced Fx 2.0 and Tb 2.0b ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Peter Weilbacher, posted on news://news.mozilla.org/mozilla.dev.ports.os2 I just finished testing and uploading my enhanced packages of Firefox and Thunderbird, called PmW-Fx and PmW-Tb. While PmW-Fx corresponds to the 2.0final version of Firefox, PmW-Tb does not correspond to an official Thunderbird version. Download both apps from my builds page (see sig). Enhancements over my 1.5.0.x line: - canvases have correct colors and orientation - the Firefox 2 SVG:textpath enhancement can actually be tested with my build, e.g. http://www.w3.org/TR/SVG11/images/text/toap01.svg - small changes (mainly to the about dialog credits) - all Firefox and Thunderbird changes that happened since 1.5 Enhancements over the official packages are the same as always and listed in the README.txt in the package (and linked on my builds page): SVG/Canvas, MNG/JNG, WPS enhancement and other stuff. It will take a few days to prepare a SeaMonkey release corresponding to these packages and the Gecko1.8.0.8-based releases (for those that don't yet want to update to 2.0). -- Please Unofficial builds: http://weilbacher.org/Mozilla/builds.html reply in (reload the _frame_ for the current version of the page) newsgroup Steve's Warpzilla Tips: http://www.os2bbs.com/os2news/Warpzilla.html -- Warpstock 2007 - Where? http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe - Cologne, Germany, Nov. 17-19th, http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
