Based on the Linux ALSA project, it is designed to address the needs of enterprises and SoHo/Endusers running the IBM OS/2 platform. Its sophisticated architecture minimizes development effort for the support of new audio hardware and ensures both high quality and current OS/2 support without the amount of work normally involved in creating an OS/2 audio device driver." There is an update to the UNIAUD driver on Netlabs' FTP server: ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/uniaud/uniaud_28012007_testcase.zip Note that this is labelled a "testcase" so use it with care. It does work fine on my Thinkpad T42p. From the changes file in this testcase archive: "NOTE: UNIAUD API requires new LIBC from GCC get it from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.1-csd1.zip 28.01.2007 - Latest HDA code - Fixed DART sharing problems with UNIAUD API - A lot of other ALSA updates" -- Warpstock 2007 - Where? http://www.warpstock.org Warpstock Europe - http://www.warpstock.net [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
