Rich Walsh has released a new beta update to his Cameraderie photo 
organizer/downloader utility.

"I've just posted a new version of the Cameraderie v1.5 beta (b3)
which fixes a crash encountered by a user with an HP camera.
It also adds an Eject button to the Open dialog to make switching
MSD cameras or flash cards easier.  You can get it from:

Cameraderie is a digital camera downloader & "pre-organizer" that
now supports both PTP & Mass Storage Device cameras.  It features:

  - a unified display that lets you view every photo on the device

  - versatile sorting and renaming features so that every photo
    can be saved in the directory you want with the name you want
  - automatic rotation that ensures your photos will always be
    viewed and saved right-side up
