Always! Great folks and good info. And everyone is invited to participate. Sandy Shapiro has volunteered to present this month. His topic is on the installation and use of the Gimp (which is open source software) with HOBLink. Gimp is short for GNU Image Manipulation Program, so Sandy will be showing us how he works magic with photos and graphics. Lynn Maxson, leading the Programming SIG, wants everyone to understand that there is no one programming language that works best in all situations. The prefab, reusable component approach to programming is not what good programming is all about, and Lynn will continue to explain distinctions between the two approaches this month. Plus, as always, free coffee and donuts. And good free advice to help solve your system problems (how could anyone have system problems with OS/2?). Come have a great Saturday morning with SCOUG.
