I can no longer upload to hobbes.nmsu.edu. As the developer of various OS/2 & eCS software, this is a pain in the a**. Probably what has happened is that my ISP(neuf.fr) has been blacklisted by hobbes. This can happen with a mega ISP like neuf.fr who has millions of clients. But I have no proof of this. So I wrote to the hobbes admin. Twice. Once via the neuf smtp relay, and in case that was blocked, via a totally different relay. Both times being careful to be very polite. To date (8 weeks later) I have had no response from hobbes. Not to say if neuf.fr is blacklisted (or not?), no information about who might be blacklisted, or why. Nothing! So what am I to do. Change my ISP? ...and what happens when the next one gets blocked? Change again? How can I complain to my ISP when hobbes won't talk to me? Or must I treat hobbes as yet another dead OS/2 site, and ignore it? How do you feel about the hobbes archive being incomplete? Ok, if hobbes were a free service, I would just presume it was dead. But people are donating money to this, and should be made aware of what they are paying for!
