The client is a Netdrive plugin and reguires Netdrive from 
http://www.blueprintsoftwareworks.com/netdrive/

 From Readme.os2 for the Samba server:
  "History:
  1) DBCS fixes from KO Myung-Hun
  2) removed ldap support from public builds until it can be tested as working"

Though I don't see it in the current server readme, the previous releases 
require the GCC runtime libc063 -
