For Seamonkey-1.1.x users please remember to uninstall first the old version, quit any instances of Seamonkey and delete enigmime.dll from the components subdir before you install the new version. There is a nice comprehensive up-to-date tutorial to be found here: http://www.os2world.com/content/view/14963/2/ Just a remark: in this article is a note that some users have problems with using enigmail under eCS-2.0rcx. However I could send an encrypted message to the enigmail devs containing the attached builds w/o problems with official TB-2.0.0.6 on eCS 2.0rc2. Comments are very welcomed. Happy encrypting Walter [Moderator note: From the Enigmail website: "The latest version of Enigmail is 0.95.4, working with Thunderbird 2.0 and Seamonkey 1.1 Enigmail is an extension to the mail client of Mozilla Thunderbird and Mozilla Seamonkey which allows users to access the authentication and encryption features provided by GnuPG (see screenshots). Enigmail is open source and dually-licensed under the GNU General Public License and the Mozilla Public License. You can download and install Enigmail from the Download page.
