The main purpose of this software is the integration with mail servers (attachment scanning). The package provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating via Internet. The programs are based on a shared library distributed with the Clam AntiVirus package, which you can use with your own software. Most importantly, the virus database is kept up to date. A multithread plugin for InetPowerServer is available, ask for details (not free software). Latest build for OS/2 is version 0.92.1, and is available on Yuri Dario's web site: http://web.os2power.com/yuri/ClamAV Additional requirements: * libc 0.6.3 runtime ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.3-csd3.wpi * libc pathrewriter ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/contrib/klibccfg.wpi -- For a choice in the future of personal computing, Join VOICE - http://www.os2voice.org [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
