You can download it from http://www.pmoylan.org/pages/os2/weasel.html or from ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/Weasel/weasel178.zip or by searching for "weasel" on Hobbes. Weasel is a mail server for OS/2. As well as supporting the basic mail server functions, it has many security features such as filtering, authentication, blacklists, etc. The standard version is shareware but registration is optional. Registration is required to upgrade to the "Pro" version which supports multiple mail domains. LIST OF CHANGES (since version 1.77) (Most of these changes will already have been seen by people who have downloaded beta versions. Only the last change is completely new.) Version 1.78 (11 Sep 2008) Setup now remembers the last page that was open. Fixed: crash when all logging was turned off. Fixed: "out of memory" problem on POP3 login when user has too many messages on server. Fixed: response to SMTP EHLO was advertising AUTH methods that were disabled. Fixed: memory leak when delivering local mail. Slowed down dictionary attacks that use AUTH commands. Minor changes to the way the top two lines of the screen are written. Fixed: username missing from POP log when user logged in with AUTH command. Minor change to default replies used when a filter rejects mail. Restrictions on which users may use SMTP AUTH (as specified in the user page in Setup) Alterations to "too many bad passwords" POP3 check: - can specify the number of tries before disconnecting; - 3-second delay comes after, not before error reply; - can disable this test completely, if desired. Added the Spanish language file. Minor change to user Setup dialogue. To fix an "out of memory" problem, limited the number of messages visible to a POP client to 512.
