M.A.M.E. stands for Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. It is capable of playing video arcade era games like Pacman, Space Invaders and over 3,000 other classic games. The emulator requires ROMs of the original arcade machines which must be provided by the user. No ROMs are included in the executable. A quick search on Google will lead you to sources for ROMs. This SDL port of MAME is by KO Myung-Hun and based on the latest version available. It is STRONGLY recommended that you view the README file included in the archiver BEFORE using M.A.M.E. Ko gives specific options that must be used to work around known issues. SDL M.A.M.E. is currently in the Incoming directory of Hobbes: http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/incoming/sdlmame0128_os2.zip Sander -- For a choice in the future of personal computing, Join VOICE - http://www.os2voice.org [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
