Hi all,

It's been a while since I updated my Python port, so I've built a version 
of v2.6.2 release candidate 1.

This has had only very limited testing, but I am downloading a torrent with 
it right now.

I'm sure now that I've released an OS/2 build of the release candidate, the 
GA build can only be hours away :)

Feedback is appreciated :)

release contains dozens of bug fixes since Python 2.6.1.  Please see
the NEWS file for a detailed list of changes.

Barring unforeseen problems, Python 2.6.2 final will be released
within a few days.
