Date: Mon, 13 Apr 2009 18:40:35 -0400 From: madodel Subject: [VOICENWS] SW: Enhanced Mozilla applications (Gecko 1.8.1.21 release) ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: Peter Weilbacher New versions of my enhanced Mozilla based apps are available now via http://pmw-warpzilla.sf.net/: - SeaMonkey 1.1.16 (PmW) - PmW-Tb 2.0.0.21 - PmW-Fx 2.0.0.21 They are all based on Gecko 1.8.1.21 on the date of 2009-04-10 and built from the exact same sources. They correspond directly to the respective official releases of SeaMonkey and Thunderbird, and to the current state of (the officially unreleased) Firefox in the same codebase. All applications need libc063.dll to run. ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0_6_3-csd3.wpi These Gecko 1.8.1.21-based packages pick up all the changes done by Mozilla since my Gecko 1.8.1.19 release, i.e. between 2008-12-02 and 2008-04-02. This includes several security fixes, some of them of high severity. No OS/2 specific changes were done since the last release. Note1: because Mozilla does not support Firefox 2 any longer this may be the last release of PmW-Fx! (This one was just created because I saw that the Firefox code was updated to include some security fixes. And because I haven't made any progress with the printing issue of Firefox 3 and later.) Note2: this is the first release created on my new hardware. I hope that this does not influence the quality of the applications.
