No reason was given but I was just told that the ACPI 3.15 that was up on 
the ACPI download site for testing has been withdrawn.    It had been 
available for a few days and has been working on my T61 for over a day now, 
but I thought I'd let people know in case they go looking for it.  No idea 
when it will be re-released, but hopefully they don't break whatever fixed 
it for me. ;-)
