This year we have tentatively succeeded. The announcement was made at the final session that the board has tentatively accepted the bid for the University of Waterloo, Waterloo Ontario Canada. The University of Waterloo, near Kitchener, has long had an OS/2 presence. At this time we will still welcome bids for consideration at other locations, though we will only consider bids that include full cost analysis (cost of meeting rooms etc.) and not an intent to bid. The Warpstock Board will make a final vote on September 15. I apologize for getting this out so late but have been swamped catching up at work after taking the time off for Warpstock. Warpstock Corporation is a Virginia corporation. The Warpstock annual conference is a gathering of OS/2 users, developers, and vendors from around the world for the purpose of education and advocacy.
