This is a follow-on to Mr. Message, with a completely new implementation of the protocols and the GUI. This version should be a vast improvement in both usability and stability over the previous Technology Preview release. Settings will now be stored in an INI file in the program directory, and fonts and colors should be customizable for all windows through the use of the Font and Mixed Color Palettes, and all window sizes and positions are saved and restored between sessions. Also, multiple accounts can now log in during the same session without the program becoming confused. This is still early code, with many features left unimplemented, and may not work as expected. Use with care. PLEASE READ the included ReadMe.OS2 file before using for the first time. I'm looking for feedback about any protocol problems or mentions of bad memory access or memory leaks in my debug log. Although I welcome suggestions about the direction I am taking with the GUI implementation, please realize that the current implementation is largely incomplete and still being heavily worked. http://mamodeo.dyndns.org/mrmessage -- For a choice in the future of personal computing, Join VOICE - http://www.os2voice.org [Moderator's note: All posts are sent without guarantee to the accuracy of the content.
