RC6 is ready for download and testing. This release candidate addresses the following problems:  

1. It fixes a serious problem with the OS/2 installer.
2. It includes a change that was intended to be included in one of the
earlier release candidates but that got left out due to an oversight.
3. It fixes a regression relative to 1.8 in the handling of va_list.  

Please post any comments or questions to the contributor's newsgroup. I hope to wrap up 1.9 soon.
