The OpenOffice developers have created "The Document Foundation" and apparently have now forked OpenOffice and created their own office suite LibreOffice. Though they have invited Oracle to join the project. There is currently only a beta version of LibreOffice available for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows, but full source code is available for download.
