For anyone interested who has an active Software Subscription Services for eComStation  there is a new version of ACPI 3.19 under the BetaZone downloads - ACPI319CR4.ZIP.  This is a test version so make sure you back up your working files before trying this.    

I've been using it on my T61 for a day now and for the first time Suspend and Resume works, though so far the system can't find my Intel  3945ABG on Resume.  also on my T61 the NEOWPS Temp widget is displaying a huge number.  But this is progress.
