Date: Sun, 06 Jan 2013 19:01:23 +0100 From: VOICE News Service Subject: [VOICENWS] Drivers: New USB host controller drivers: usbhcd188.zip ++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service http://www.os2voice.org ++ From: lars.erdmannDESPAM at DESPAMarcor.de I have updated the USB host controller drivers USBUHCD.SYS, USBOHCD.SYS, USBEHCD.SYS, USBD.SYS (and now also: USBRESMG.SYS) I have now placed these on hobbes. http://hobbes.nmsu.edu/download/pub/os2/system/drivers/misc/usbhcd188.zip They will eventually make it into directory: /pub/os2/system/drivers/misc 1) USBUHCD,USBOHCD,USBEHCD: added back some code to allow booting from USB (not tested) 2) USBUHCD,USBOHCD,USBEHCD: added some mutex serialization to root hub processing to allow to have multiple USB memory sticks attached on bootup and have them properly detected and usable. They will appear as fixed disks or as removable disks (when attached while the system is booting up). 3) USBD.SYS: fixed a trap D error If you have problems with EHCI change 2) might also be relevant, please test. Note: I have added a beep to USBEHCD which I forgot to remove. You should hear a beep on bootup for every USB stick attached already on bootup, possibly also for other USB 2.x devices.
