Oddly, there were no differences in the configurations of the VMs, except for PMMail. When I had experienced the trap, I rebooted several times and could repeatedly replicate the trap. I had since upgraded to PMMail Beta 2 and now Beta 3 on the restored VM and no longer experience the trap. (FYI, my ArcaOS VM is allocated 5 cores and 4GB ram, w. hyperthreading disabled on my host Xeon processor). > 1. Is PMMail installed on a fat32 volume or are you trying to save to a > fat32 volume. PMMail is installed on an HPFS 386 volume. My PMMail home directory is mapped to a Warp Server HPFS 386 volume on a Lan Mgr. share. > 2. How far do you get with the saveas. Does the save dialog open? I had kept the fat32 driver for potential removable media which I don't use, so I'll go ahead and comment them out. > 4. Please tell me what version of fat32 you are using. IFS=C:\OS2\FAT32.IFS /cache:2048 /h /q /ac:* /largefiles CALL=C:\OS2\CACHEF32.EXE /f /p:2 /m:50000 /b:250 /d:5000 /S -rw-rw-rw- 1 root root 116433 Aug 17 2018 fat32.ifs (creation date 8/8/2018) -rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21648 Aug 17 2018 cachef32.exe (creation date 8/8/2018) I don't have a "fat32.map" file on my system. When the "Choose File to Save Attachment" dialog opens, it defaults to a local directory on my HPFS 386 boot partition. Also included within the dialog directory listing is my Warp Server Lan Mgr. mapped drive and two Linux smb NetDrive mapped drives. Beta 3 has been working well for me and is stable. The GA version would periodically abend during the day when fetching mail which I haven't seen with Beta 2 or 3. PMMail runs about 16 hours/day fetching mail every 10 minutes. Thank you very much for supporting PMMail! - Sean ====================== Sean Casey svc at pacbell dot net Sent from my ArcaOS OS/2 ====================== ----------- To unsubscribe yourself from this list, send the following message to MajorMajor at os2voice dot org unsubscribe PMMail2User end
