I am still not able to build this thing, and that means that I need to
find another way to trouble shoot PMMutil, which seems to have
some sort of problem. It is popping up an error, on a new install,
but
the error doesn't tell me anything useful. Simply pressing <enter>
lets it continue.
Okay, I found the build problem. Somehow, OS2TK45 got dropped
from RPM/YUM. This was working, so I don't know what happened.
Possibly something while testing ArcaOS. Anyway, I can build it
now. I think the WIS, and PMMutil, are okay. They both need some
work, but I think we should leave it, for now. Very few users (if any)
will see any problems. The only problem, that I see, is doing a new
install, with accounts already in place. PMMutil pops up an error,
that doesn't tell me anything. Pressing <enter> will let it finish. This
probably should be in the README.

QUESTION: Are you using the Watcom build, or the old method?
Have you decided which way we will go, for the longer term?
There is still a problem with aspell.cnf. It needs to be:
--------------------------
#
# aspell.cnf -- Configuration for PMMail use of Aspell library
#
dict-dir at UNIXROOT/usr/lib/aspell-0.60
data-dir at UNIXROOT/usr/lib/aspell-0.60
#
# ____[ end ]____
#
----------------------
but PMMail doesn't understand " at UNIXROOT". It also doesn't
understand %UNIXROOT%, so the user needs to set the proper
drive (W:) in place of at UNIXROOT, unless PMMail is installed on
the UNIXROOT drive. Then they can simply omit at UNIXROOT. I
haven't been able to find where this file gets initialized.

I can see a problem, if ASpell ever gets updated, and the path
changes.

It's good to hear you have the build working there again.

I don't have an aspell.cnf file. Is that because I haven't used ASpell? Could PMMutil be extended to fix apsell.cnf?
