This message is from the 22nd of March. It shows what ODIN does! Complete information on ODIN is available at: http://www.netlabs.org/odin/ ---- Hey Dave, I hope you like crow. Please download this file. (~7.2MB) ftp://weebe.indstate.edu/pub/quake3_demo/quake3-320.rm (Please don't try to stream this file. Download it to your local disk instead, opening it in RealPlayer.) Requires RealPlayer 5.0 or higher. Permission is granted to copy and distribute anywhere you like. Anyone interested in the original video should email me. (It's huge.) Next a diaglouge warns me that my video card may not support a windowed session, and to click cancel if this is correct. (It is, the VooDoo2 only does full-screen.) The 3Dfx logo appears, and fades. A brief pause, and then the Quake3 opening splash followed by the main menu. I play a quick skirmish, (while displaying my poor aiming skills) and then look at some of the game settings. Finally, I exit to the desktop. Total length: ~3 mins 17 seconds. Full screen, full 3D acceleration, full sound, fully playable... ------------------------------------------------------- To subscribe, unsubscribe, or for more information on WarpCast, visit: http://www.warpcast.com/ -------------------------------------------------------
