Recognizing the need for high quality presentations on networking and other related topics, the Warpstock 2000 Committee aims to satisfy the thirst for more knowledge on OS/2 networking. Everyone from seasoned OS/2 network administrators to the home user will get the most out his OS/2 system by attending these presentations. The following is only a brief summary of the Networking presentations that you may expect to see at Warpstock 2000: - OS/2 Roadmap to the Application Framework for e-business. Steven King will speak on how IBM continues to enhance OS/2 so that, in addition to preserving customer investments in legacy OS/2 applications, it is the platform for future e-business deployments and for the development of e-business applications. - Remote-booting Diskless Windows Workstations from OS/2 Warp Server. In this session, Micho Durdevich will show you the issues involved with remote-booting diskless Windows 9x/NT workstations from OS/2 Warp Server, using the OS/2 Warp Server RIPL Service. - Building Domino Applications for OS/2, by Larry B. Finkelstein. - OS/2 Networking with Cable/DSL Internet Access. Walter Metcalf shows you how to get a mixed OS/2 and Windows SOHO network (with File and Print access to each other) connected to the internet with these high-speed services. Additional presentations will be added to our schedule in the following days, including presentations about OS/2 interoperability with alien operating systems.
