The music is redirected from your fm-card to some or other sound card input
Choose sound card connector (input) through which your fm-card is connected.

Select LINE IN in case you connected tuner through LINE IN input;
Select INTERNAL AUDIO in case you connected through internal input;

Music is represented as WAV stream.
Before recording, adjust WAV stream parameters.

PCM Pulse Code Modulation refers to the variation of a digital signal to represent audio amplitude. Use this format for compatibility with WAV players.
A-law is the compression scheme commonly used in Europe
Mu-law is the compression scheme used by the telephone system.

Mono or Stereo - number of channels to record.
|
The number of samples per second taken of the original sound wave as well as the precision (or resolution) of the
sample dictate the quality of the sound reproduction. Typical sampling rates include 44 kHz, 22 kHz, and 11 kHz,
where kHz is an abbreviation for kilohertz or thousands of cycles per second.

The sampling precision is usually
measured in bits where 8 or 16 bits per sample are representative of most audio adapters.

The music is stored on your HDD as WAV file.

To begin record press BIG RED BUTTON. Unlatch button to stop recording.
Name of current WAV file is displayed in wav name window.
