This is a share level-application only server (personal/user storage areas and print queues are being served from a VMS cluster). I have it working but am not receiving the performance I had expected (yes, I do realize my expectations could be too high, but I doubt it. I have been running WinDoze from a 4000 class VMS cluster with a significant number of interactive users and 100 other PCs (through two bridges I might add). OS/2 performance appears to be about the same...not what I expected.) I have gone through the Documentation and the information in DECPCI forum on CompuServe and have it tuned to what I think is the best configuration, However I wouldn't mind getting a second opinion. Enclosed are my CONFIG.SYS, LANMAN.INI, (from both client and server) PROTOCOL.INI. I know I am sending out a lot of "stuff" but please comment on these and send me the same type information from your OS/2 servers, I would like to have something to compare my settings to. Please include a brief description of what your server's usage is like. Also, any settings you have tweaked to improve DECnet (NCP or otherwise) would be appreciated. Also, if you need more "stuff" from me, let me know. I know I'm asking a lot, but I would greatly appreciate *any* information. (I am cross-posting this to the LANMAN-L list as well.) I have to do this again for a FOXPRO application server in another building. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
