What's here

This page contains links to corrected SYSLEVEL.OS2 and SYSLEVEL.MPM files for OS/2 Warp 3.x. These files, when downloaded and installed in the correct directory replacing the one shipped with the product, may allow service (a FixPak) to be applied to your system.

  • SYSLEVEL.OS2 - this file goes in the \OS2\INSTALL directory of your boot drive
  • SYSLEVEL.MPM - this file goes in the \MMOS2\INSTALL directory of the drive Multimedia Presentation Manager/2 is installed on. See the SET MMBASE= statement in CONFIG.SYS for the location if you are not sure.

    If you are not having trouble applying service to your system you DO NOT need any of these files.

    Currently available updated SYSLEVEL files

    Click on the link for the country you are interested in. Once in the directory with the SYSLEVEL file you want, hold down the Shift key then click on the SYSLEVEL file to bring up the "Save as" dialog box. This will allow you to download the file.
