The lpr32.dll and lprpdrvr.pdr files must be in a directory on
the LIBPATH, 'tcpip\dll' is recommended.

The *.exe files should be on the PATH, 'tcpip\bin' is recommended.

The original files of the same name should be saved/renamed for
easy restoration, should that become necessary.

The following *.exe files use the lpr32.dll file:

     lpq.exe
     lpr.exe
     lprm.exe
     lprportd.exe

The remaining files are not significantly changed, but are supplied
as a part of a complete (lprportd) package.

Problems fixed:

  1. Fixed time out problem with printers that have tcp/ip stack and
     lpd built into the local printer hardware.

  2. Fixed lprportd to check for a print job DELETE status, and purges
     the print job.

  3. Corrected a problem with missing Userid info on the "P" control
     card.  In some cases the P"P control card was sent without data.

  4. Added code to handle long duration communications errors.

  5. Fixed an HP JetDirect Connect SYNC RST (reset) problem.

  6. Improved socket error handleing.

  7. Changed code to lessen the possibility of message "LPP0001 couldn't
     create temp file".

  8. Fixed a problem in LPRPORTD with incorrect output at the printer (lpd
     server) when a print job is Deleted/Cancelled during socket send to
     the server.

  9. Fixed LPRPORTD intermittent SYS3175 Access Violations when there is a
     heavy system load.
