Description:

This package provides replacement files for FTP.EXE, FTPD.EXE,
FTPDC.EXE, and FTPAPI.DLL.  To date, these are the only files in the
FTP component that have had apar fixes made to them in OS/2 Warp
v4.0 TCP/IP.
 
Installation instructions:
--------------------------
 
You must have the following installed on your system:
  - OS/2 version 4.0 with TCP/IP v4.0 
   
You should put the FTPFILES.EXE file in a temporary subdirectory
and enter:
 
  FTPFILES
  
FTPFILES.EXE file contents:

You should back up the current versions of these files on your 
system.  Then replace the *.EXE files in the TCPIP\BIN directory, 
and the FTPAPI.DLL file in the TCPIP\DLL directory.

IC16273 - Byte count displayed in the 'Received x bytes' message, after
            the file transfer is complete, is not consistent with the actual
            number of bytes transferred (ftp.exe)

IC15306 - FTPPROXY OF A LARGE FILE RETURNS AN FTPPROXY RC 
            AND AN FTPERRNO VALUE AFTER 2 MINUTES EVEN THOUGH
            THE PROXY HAS NOT COMPLETED.  (ftpapi.dll)

IC16140 - File being PUT to the OS/2 FTP Server when the connection
            drops is locked and cannot be deleted until the server is 
            stopped. (ftpdc.exe, ftpd.exe)
 
IC17630 - Cleanup of threads on large proxy MPUTs. (ftpdc.exe)

IC18383 - FTPGET API call hangs if network connection is disconnected during the
            data transfer. (FTPAPI.DLL)

IC18414 - FTP command line GET hangs if network connection is disconnected during the 
            data transfer. (FTP.EXE)

IC18584 - Changes required to FTPD for Year 2000 compliance. (FTPD.EXE, FTPDC.EXE)

IC18513 - Intermitten x'1c' character getting added to the end a file that was PUT from 
            OS/2 command line FTP in ASCII mode.  (FTP.exe)

IC18757 - FTP server does not allow an FTP client to retrieve a file that is open for 
            write by another application.  Error 24 is received.  (FTPD.exe, FTPDC.exe)

IC18759 - FTP client does not calculate the hour correctly for the local timezone when
            the keepdate function is used. (FTP.EXE)
