About KDiff3: KDiff3 is a program that * compares or merges two or three text input files or directories, * shows the differences line by line and character by character (!), * provides an automatic merge-facility and * an integrated editor for comfortable solving of merge-conflicts, * supports Unicode, UTF-8 and other codecs, autodetection via byte-order-mark "BOM" * supports KIO on KDE (allows accessing ftp, sftp, fish, smb etc.), * Printing of differences, * Manual alignment of lines, * Automatic merging of version control history ($Log$), * and has an intuitive graphical user interface. About the OS/2 build: It was built using Innotek GCC v3.3.5 CSD1 version and requires the runtime dll from ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/libc-0.6.1-csd1.zip This port would not be possible without the Qt library from Netlabs! Known issues: - some dialogs exhibit focus issues - printing doesn't work (due to lack of QPrinter support in OS/2 Qt) General feedback can be provided to paulDESPAM@DESPAMsmedley.info, bug reports should go to http://mantis.smedley.info If you like this software and want to support continued ports, please consider donating via PayPal via the link at http://smedley.info/os2ports, or via the Mensys online store at http://www.mensys.net/os2ports Cheers, Paul Smedley http://smedley.info/os2ports Adelaide, Australia 9th January, 2007
