Chapter 13. Configuring Wall Data Rumba Manually on Windows Workstations

Read this chapter if you have a Windows NT workstation and you have installed Wall Data Rumba as the SNA system.

Although you should use the Client Configuration Assistant wherever possible in order to configure communications with a host or AS/400 server, there are situations where the these tools will perform only a portion of the required configuration (for example, to configure an SDLC or twinax connection). This chapter describes how you manually configure an SNA connection between a DB2 Connect Personal Edition using Wall Data Rumba and a remote DRDA server in such situations.

The example values used in this chapter are based on the scenario in Figure 9, except that Wall Data Rumba replaces Microsoft SNA Server as the SNA subsystem at the DB2 Connect workstation.
