Quick Beginnings
- From the Action Bar, select Add.
- Select the Mode button.
- At the Configure Modes pop-up, set the values as shown in the
example:
- On the Basic window, set the Mode name to be used (same as at the host of
AS/400 server).
- On the Limits window, set:
Session limit 30
Automatic Activation Limit 0
Minimum Contention Winners 15
- On the Send window, set:
RU Length 4096
Pacing Count 0
- On the Receive window, set:
RU Length 4096
Pacing Count 0
Notes:
- The RU Lengths given above assume a Token Ring LAN. For Ethernet,
the values must be no larger than 1517.
- Check with your VTAM or AS/400 Administrator that the values you set are
compatible with those set at the host.
- Click on OK.
